Hip Hop Spelling Bee

The Al Rucker Foundation Hip-Hop Spelling Bee is an interactive spelling bee event centered on hip-hop music to create a fun environment that will engage young minds while promoting the improvement of spelling and vocabulary skills.

HBCU Campus Tours

In partnership with the Al Rucker Show, the foundation awards scholarships to one to two students per academic year.  Yearly, the hosts of the Al Rucker Show tour to various HBCUs (historically black colleges & universities) for a live-moderated panel discussion open to students and staff. The Q&A sessions range in topics determined by the student body. At the end of the tour, the scholarship awardees are announced.
